What a beautiful start in the day. I slept like an angel in my tent and some warm sunrays woke me up. I got up and prepared a fabulous breakfast under the blue sky*. After that I began to take down my tent at the same time as my friendly neighbours. A young couple from Lucerne. They are on a cikling trip too, but just for 2 days. However, they do it for a very exciting reason. They are doing it as a test for their holidays. They will fly to Japan, where they travel arround by bike. Wow!
A comparoson between our equipements let me get the second place in every category except of the "over-all-weight" of the equipement. Mine is much heavier, which is not really a good goal (except for cikling downhill - haha). They've got a tent as light as a feather and their airbed is small and light too and it blows up itself for a comfortable double-bed, while mine looses air itself - valve closed of course. Instead of my private library they've got an electronic navigator. Looks like i'm a little oldfashioned.
My stage today was quiet short from Aarburg to Brugg, where i'm preparing myself for some rainy days next. I stay in a wonderful old house, which is in use today as a youth hostel. It's located next to the river Aare, where i found a beautiful lagune * with no people. Just myself and a million moscitos and other biting creatires.
